    Hi all,

After 16 years of VFR 800FiY ownership it's time to take a more upright riding position so got the Crossrunner on Tuesday. 2017 EURO4 model on 2018 plate.  Already successfully mastered the front fairing 'jigsaw'......
As we have a rare 'hot weather day' (31deg in Birmingham today) I hope you all manage to raise a glass sometime soon.

    Cheers, :031:

    Vazon.

:400: Welcome Vazon. You have made an excellent choice of machine.
'Already successfully mastered the front fairing 'jigsaw'...... '  Do you mean you have successfully removed the fairing bits? If so there are a few folk, including myself, who would appreciate the method. A thread was recently opened by Skids on the subject. See 'Recent Topics' below.

    Hi Corringdon, thanks.

I just followed the details posted by Lampie and it worked for me. Only thing to add to his advice is that there was a clip/catch about half way up both sides of the beak (might be a 2017 new addition?) which has to be 'unhooked'.  Just take your time and don't strain anything plastic  whilst attempting any of it.

    Cheers,

    Vazon.

Welcome, and thanks for the tip. :031: You picked a good day for it; plastics are far less  likely to break in warm weather. Personally I just wish Honda would use nice stainless fasteners that you just unscrew, but hey ho.
