Just got my first 11 plate VFR 800X as my first big bike. Researched and just ticked all the boxes for me. Have my mod 2 bike test in a couple of weeks. The folks I have talked to tell me this is a great choice of bike for my budget. Looking to tour with the bike as soon as I can.

I might have some full Honda luggage available if it's of any interest to you?

Define 'best'. That's the problem, as always, each of us will have a slightly different idea of what is best so you will get as many opinions as there are people.
Better to ask yourself what you want from handguards; weather protection, inadvertent impact protection etc. Once you know what you need from them, then you can ask a more focussed question.

Great thought provoking response that and thankyou.
Predominantly I thought for weather projection tbh.
I've struggled to find any tbh.

I ride my bike through the winter on my daily 100 mile commute. I fitted Barkbusters to both of my Crossrunners. They're the universal ones, they don't make specific ones. But they are offer more weather protection than the plastic ones like OEM and others.

That's really helpful 👍.
I will take a look and get them ordered thanks for that. I'm just practicing like mad at the moment preparing for my test.
