Got her back from the dealer this morning and set about rotating the shock plates back to their original position.

Quite and easy job although there's not much room to get the torque wrench in behind the exhaust downpipe but managed it ok.

It'll have to wait until Monday when I go to work to see what difference it makes, along with the slight stiffening of the suspension but it's difficult to feel any significant difference just sat on it after rotating the plates.

Did you notice any difference with the ease of using the main stand?
When I changed mine back to standard the difference was huge..now it feels like most of my past bikes to lift onto the main stand.
Maybe the aftermarket plates I had on made the bike very low - maybe 40mm?

No. It still requires the "technique" to get it on the stand.

A few things: I completely neglected to consider the side-stand. The PO fitted a lower side-stand when he lowered the suspension and whilst it will support the bike, it is at a very precarious angle so I'll need to try and adjust it tonight and see if it is ok. If not, then I'll be looking for someone who wants a shorter side-stand to swap with their original.

The bike does now feel a little taller, especially when riding it, the rear feels slightly higher, though of course this could just be psychological as I know it is higher. Stiffening the front and rear by 1/4 turn has definitely firmed things up a little so I'm happy with that too.

So if there is anyone out there on a 2015+ Mk2 Crossrunner who wants an adjustable side-stand suitable for lowered suspension and is happy to swap it for the OEM side-stand, keep an eye out.

After a bit of tweaking these settings work well for me:
Preload left at FACTORY both ends.
Might need a nat's more rear when two-up.

REBOUND
Forks 1/2 turn anticlockwise from factory (softer)
Rear 1/4 turn clockwise from factory (harder)

FACTORY
Forks 1.5 turns back from max
(align dots)
Shock 1.25 turns back from max (align dots)

Skids you have a terrible memory flipping links has discussed on this forum. Anyway seeing as the links were flipped may pay to check fork height is not stock also.

I have an appalling memory, errr, Haddo.....but I didn't realise mine had been done until I checked.

All good ... I've replied & forgotten what I was going to say ..................
.....oh yeh. Flipping the links as far as I can remember drops the rear someting like 20- 25 odd mm so I assume that being done the front may have been lowered 10mm or so??? Prob no real big deal but may be something to check & consider.
