Just bought myself a 2014 Crossrunner at the weekend so thought I'd better join in and say hello to the community

:008:Apologies - believe it or not I've never done forums so still getting to grips with 'uploading photos' and such witchcraft. Besides - the wheels appear to have come off my bike
which is why I didn't have time to post photos!
I've been riding for 20 years, current bikes; Triumph Tiger 800 XCA, GSXR750 and the Crossrunner.

They can indeed be strange places, the lack of visual/facial communication means it is often too easy to take things the wrong way. But this place is pretty good.
Just out of interest, why the Trumpet
and
the Crossie?

Good question - the Tiger is my 'forever' bike (although that may change having ridden the CT) for touring and general whumping around on, the GSXr is my track bike and I recently got rid of an MT07 which I bought on a whim and found it fell short of my expectations - snatchy throttle, cheaply made and standard exhaust sounds like a fart in a cardboard box. The CT, in the short time I've owned it, is everything the MT07 should have been and more. Primarily I bought the CT for my partner so we can tour/whump around on together - he has a Ninja 600 and a GSXr track bike and going out together with me on the Tiger and him on the Ninja is a mis-match and makes for frustrating riding.
