:008:Apologies - believe it or not I've never done forums so still getting to grips with 'uploading photos' and such witchcraft. Besides - the wheels appear to have come off my bike  :034: which is why I didn't have time to post photos!

I've been riding for 20 years, current bikes; Triumph Tiger 800 XCA, GSXR750 and the Crossrunner.

They can indeed be strange places, the lack of visual/facial communication means it is often too easy to take things the wrong way. But this place is pretty good.

Just out of interest, why the Trumpet and the Crossie?  :031:

Good question - the Tiger is my 'forever' bike (although that may change having ridden the CT) for touring  and general whumping around on, the GSXr is my track bike and I recently got rid of an MT07 which I bought on a whim and found it fell short of my expectations - snatchy throttle, cheaply made and standard exhaust sounds like a fart in a cardboard box. The CT, in the short time I've owned it, is everything the MT07 should have been and more. Primarily I bought the CT for my partner so we can tour/whump around on together - he has a Ninja 600 and a GSXr track bike and going out together with me on the Tiger and him on the Ninja is a mis-match and makes for frustrating riding.
