High level silencer? Anyone done it?

I’d like to fit a high level can to my Mk1 CR, so it’s clear of the rear wheel. Link pipe going up behind rear footrest and can just under the side of the seat section.
Has anyone managed this? There seems to be nothing available.
Even any advise on wether there’s a high level link pipe from another 800 model that would fit. I’d happily make up a bracket to mount the can from the back of the rear footrest hanger bolts.
    Thanks

I fitted a Staintune high level pipe to my old VFR800 FiX and it was superb quality. I have no idea if it would fit on a Mk1 800X, but you could always contact Staintune and ask.

I settled on an Ixil Hyperflow for mine which is way better looking than stock, but I too would have preferred a high level.

You could volunteer to be a guinea pig but you'd probably need to lend your bike to the manufacturer for a period of time.

As long as they were UK-based, it should be workable.

Not aware of anyone that has done it but there should be no major reason why not and with the right skills you could make your own.

I have an Arrow can on there at the moment, lovely sound. But why not show the single sided swinger off and tidy up the rear.
I’ve contacted a few manufacturers already, but no joy and no interest. I guess it’s a limited market.
Might have to get a link pipe made up and do the rest myself. Just need time to do it.

In the Netherlands we have Mille Pajic (a former racer) who does linkpipes for all bikes and all wishes at a decent price. But that is not really helpfull for people from the island in the north sea.

[Old duffer mode on]  Ahh Europe, I remember that.  Back then we could trade with people from all over the Continent, heck we could even go there if we wanted.  Now just a fading memory....

Yes I guess I could try and find someone who could do it.
I miss Europe now we have the all powerful Border Force 🤮 I managed to get my Hyperpro stuff just before it got really difficult to import stuff from our friends on the mainland.
Are there any upsides to Brexshit? Literally, anyone, name one thing?
