Looks rubbish TBH and I'm not sure how it would stand in high speed turbulence since the Honda tall screen is shaking pretty bad as it is. Not to mention the price :151: MRA will soon release their version of the Vario screen which usually is the best compromise between decent wind protection and good looks. German quality too :152:

I wasn't recommending it just making people aware of another CR related item for them to look at. I shall not bother in future.
BTW i don't have any problem with my Honda high screen shaking

Sorry Rocker I didn't mean it that way, although I have to admit, my limited english vocabulary makes me sound abrupt at times. Apologies if I offended you.

I tend to be critic in general and express my thoughts in public but I do it in a constructive way and I'm always eager to hear other's people thoughts and ideas, so please don't take it the wrong way.

That's interesting because on a windy day at motorways speeds, on my CR, the tall screen shakes the whole dash. Maybe it's a sign for slowing down ... it may be some truth to the 130km/h speed limit on the sticker I guess.

Depends on ones definition of motorway speeds. Mine would be 80-85 MPH which keeps with most of the traffic. I get slight screen flex at these speeds but certainly not shaking

I was referring to legal limits +/- 10mph. I usually don't ride faster than 80-85mph because the noise makes it uncomfortable. It is generally OK but on a windy day (20-30mph winds) I can see the screen shaking the dashboard and looking the that single mounting point, it doesn't inspire much confidence that it won't break loose in such forces.

MRA has a similar add-on deflector with 2 mounting points but it is even more expensive and looks just as terrible (IMO of course).

I had the MRA deflector on my CB1300S. As you say not pretty but very effective

Was that the add-on bit or the whole MRA Vario screen? I had the Vario screen on the SV and although didn't stop the wind completely, it made the airflow very smooth and turbulence free. I actually enjoyed the turbulence free, low pressure breeze on the upper body that helped cooling me down in summer :D
