Screen & Hugger Recommendations
on: October 08, 2021, 01:31:56 PM
So I have taken delivery of a great 2015 Crossrunner, kind of!! Its currently in secure storage while I tinker with it - two things I want to do is fit a rear hugger, and an upgraded screen.....

So what do you guys recommend?

Currently has no hugger, just came with an assortment of dirt around the back end!

And has what I'm assuming aftermarket screen adjusters but with the standard screen, Givi screens have been recommended but doesn't seem to be much available!

Or anything else that anyone recommends?

Cheers

Hi Tommy....no excuse for not sending us a picture of your new bike!  :028:

I've always found Powerbronze to be quality stuff (and there's a 10% discount on this site). I had one on my first Crossie but my current one came with a Honda hugger already fitted.

Screens are another matter and highly individual. My 2018 has the OEM adjustable screen which was not available OEM on the 2015 models so I don't know what is fitted to yours but it ain't OEM. Perhaps a pic would help.  :031:

I went with Givi Airflow screen & had now for 5 years. Height adjustable. Top section removable. Done alot of touring never had a problem. Fitting tip "don't overtighten".

Thanks for the replies, profile now includes a pic, will no doubt add a few more once I've figured the upload thing out!

I'll have a look at the Powerbronze huggers, I'm 99 percent certain the screen is oem but mounted on aftermarket adjusters so I might just try it as it is and see what it's like.....I'm only 5'7 so the adjusters may give it enough extra height!

I can highly recommend the Powerbronze hugger

Keeps a lot of crap of the shock etc

I am currently using a MRA screen which has an adjustable blade on the top which works well for me

I have also got the Powernronze  adjustable brackets which worked very well with the Skidmarx screen which I intend to try out with MRA screen and will add pics  and comments when tried out

I can highly recommend the Powerbronze Hugger

The screen adjusters you have are probably Powerbronze

To get the right screen for you is a bit of trial and error

I have the Powerbronze screen adjusters and a MRA Vario screen set up , all I can say is it works for me

I hope this helps

For me, I have finally come to an optimal state. The integral helmet HJC RPHA70 is added to what is shown in the photos and in this setting and the effect is very good. I finally hear the sound of the motorcycle, even at 140 km / h. My height is 190 cm.
