Greetings to all from the sunny southwest!
I am the new lucky owner of a 2016 Crossrunner, purchased from Gramps of this forum. I collected the bike on Tuesday, and it is beautifully presented and set up. Gramps is the perfect gentleman too, and I really enjoyed meeting him.
Have had a couple of decent rides already, the picture is from today, deep in the Cotswolds. I've never had a motorcycle sat-nav before, so set the TomTom for 'a thrilling ride' and was impressed with the route it chose - lots of nadgery single track lanes with grass growing down the middle, as well as the more typical sweeping A and B roads.
Previous riding history, amongst many others includes a couple of VFR750's during the 90's, three lovely but extremely fragile Gilera Nordwests, three Kawasaki Versys - two 650's and a 1000, and most recently a Triumph Trophy SE (more mobile bungalow than motorbike).
We've always enjoyed touring Europe by bike, but the past couple of years have put paid to that of course. I feel fortunate to have recently retired a little early after a lifelong career as a nurse, so I am hoping to get some more miles under my wheels before I'm too old!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone
Looking through the forum, not much seems to go wrong with these bikes, and mine is already well accessorised by the previous owners, so I'm keeping my pleas for information or advice in reserve
I have however ordered some Givi engine bars, not because I think I'll drop the bike, but because it would be so expensive if I do!

Welcome!
I'm also a recent member and new owner!
Whereabouts did you order the engine bars from? I'm currently debating with myself whether to invest in some!

Thanks for the welcome, and the same to you too
I ordered the bars from a popular online auction site.
There were two British suppliers there, both the same price, but these ones were quicker delivery. I have always bought any Givi stuff I wanted direct from Italy, but since Brexit you risk getting clobbered for import duties. I will send you a link by Personal Message as I'm not if Admin allows commercial links?
