Replacing the bar grips?

The grips on my CR are a bit worn out & looking to put some new ones on.
Do I need to replace them with OEM parts to keep the heated grips? If so, does anyone know the part number for both of them?
Has anyone replaced the grips on their bike at all?

Hi, sorry can’t help with your query, but here is a link to where I usually go for part numbers.

No problem. The price didn’t look too bad till I noticed it was for only one side.

Grip Puppies might be a favourable solution.

Oh cool! Thanks, those might do the job. Replacing the OEM grips seems like an expensive endeavor

I guess you don't use the heated grips downunder?
Otherwise grippuppies might not be the best choice and a pair of oxford heated grips is the way to go.
Stop making sense

I shouldn't think Onesimplclik uses heated grips as the Gold Coast is semi tropical. Grip Puppies do work well with the OEM Honda heated grips as I have them fitted to my CR.

Really? I would think the grippuppies act as a thermal isolator on the not so warm oem heated grips.
Stop making sense

Thankfully the weather where I live doesn't get cold enough to need the grips most of the year, usually only in the early morning or night riding in the winter, but otherwise it's usually pretty mild or steamy hot in the summer.
