Service manual
on:

Afternoon all,
Been a while but the CR is still getting about! Out of warranty now so keen to do the servicing myself in the coming months. Does anyone know where I can get a (ideally PDF) service/workshop manual? Might be handy for working through the major service schedule.
Cheers

AFAIK there are no generally available Service Manual for the Mk2 Crossie. There is one behind a paywall, there's a link on VFRD somewhere so I use the VFR800F SM. There is much commonality so at the moment it seems to be the best available.
If you do find one, do let me know please.

Cheers. Yeah I was aware of the one behind a paywall, pay per hour or something, but that isn't particularly practical for a home mechanic! I guess if I was very determined I could pay for an hour and fly through it screenshotting every page.

Thunderguts there is a Genuine Honda service manual available, I have a copy,
Part No 62MJM00 (800f)
Part No 62MJM00Z (the 800X addendum)
They cost about £50 each plus post(search on David Silvers) but cover every nut and bolt, the part numbers above are the english versions,
I have a brand new pair for sale totally unused, but I have offered them to someone foe £55 posted(both manuals)
I will post up here tomorrow if the person decides not to buy them, for me its a no-brainer if you work on your own bike,
all the best Steve

Cheers Steve - yes I’d be interested if they’re still available!

Not complicated. I installed a pdf printer. I registered on the paid page and saved almost everything that is important to me for 10 euros
