Laid Up Insurance - UK

I'm looking for recommendations for a Laid Up insurance for a bike I'm going to buy buy not ride for a while.

I've had a couple of quotes, one of nearly £70 and one of over £100 for 6 months, both of which I find disgustingly high. Hell, the 2nd one costs more per year than it does for my Crossrunner, which I actually ride and cover over 10k miles a year. How does that make sense?

So, if anyone has had a good deal for a bike that wont be ridden, please let me know on here or by PM.
