Hi Iain, welcome to the site.

I have had the same issue as you, previously owned a 98 and 08 model, and combined with my advancing years, the riding position put too much pressure on my wrists so the Crossrunner seemed the perfect solution. I wasn't wrong!

Not sure I can explain my recent purchase of an 01 model though

All the best, not at all envious of your near perfect biking roads up there, but I have a little excursion planned there later this year to remind me.
