Agreed, but I don't think sound of them revving whilst stood still does them justice, it's the WOT under load then the release when the VTEC engages 4 valves that really sets them apart.

When I hear it, there's usually a little bit of wee dribbles out.  :001:

Just waiting for the payment request / invoice from them then I can get the ball rolling.

Skids; does it burble when you’re slowing down with the throttle shut too?

    A little, but hardly noticeable.

And it certainly smoothes the low rpm power delivery, IMHO.

lets be honest this is not a good sounding engine to start with, the GR moto can on mine makes little difference to the sound unless the turkey tray is removed.

I disagree. In the Vtec range at high throttle openings, through a decent end can the VFR sounds glorious.

Update: it was delivered this morning so will fit tonight when I get home. It's taken FedEx over a week to deliver it though, including getting stuck at CDG airport (unspecified delays) and again at customs at Dartford where it entered the UK. Only VAT payable on import (plus FedEx fee of £12.50) as it's made in the EU, no further import duties are payable.

It’s fitted. Need to find somewhere to host. Bit of a faff removing the old gasket as with it fitted the stub was too broad for the DAM to slip on. Once that was off and cleaned up, went on like a glove. DB killer is straight out though as it’s a bit tame with it in judging by idling on the drive but I’ll see how I get on.
