Plastic cover for heated grip switch 2017 CR

The plastic switch cover of the heated grips switch has somehow come off and gone missing 😲, after a 100 mile run on my 2017 CR around the Northern Irish Coast today.

Grip heaters still work fine (by pressing the small micro-switch on the now exposed circuit board), but how on earth do I find a replacement plastic cover?

Any suggestions or workaround ideas would be extremely welcome!! :046:

That happened to me on the way home from buying my current Crossie. Luckily, the dealer sorted it.

    Maybe it's available as a spare 🤷

Spoke to the Honda Dealer just now . . . . , £215 to get the small plastic cover as its not available as a part and the whole 'left hand grip assembly' would need to be replaced  :087: :004: :151:

Jeez, I hope there is another way ? :-/

good luck with your search for a solution, but in the meantime, as its happened to two of you, maybe worth us owners all checking the switch cover is secure, and even a drop of superglue if its loose ?
