Cool, nice review Alan.
I find it interesting that you found the bike faster than the CBF. The CBf might not be a Fireblade but it's no slouch. Like the CBF, I suspect this is also a "do-it-all" bike.

No, I found it STARTED much faster. With my CBF, you have to hold the starter down for 1-2 seconds. With the CR (and my Hornet 600), it's almost instant.
