Hi All, I picked up my new to me Crossrunner last Monday, it's a 2017 plate, no accessories to speak about apart from the fact it's lowered (more to come soon on that).

Came with the Honda top-box which is a tad small, so have ordered a rack to fit my Givi box.

Bike seems nice and comfortable to ride and has a bit of grunt, so far so good.

@steve-a please tell more about the fact the bike has been lowered. Really interested in this.

You can buy 3rd party lowering kits for the bike, mine has had one from Lust Engineering fitted.  I am not tall at 5'9" with an inside leg of 30" and with the lowering kit I am able to get both feet comfortably on the ground.  However it feels  to low to me, I have had both KTM 1290 / 11290 adv previously as well as an Afrika Twin 1100 so I am fine with taller bikes, and think I would much prefer this one to be put back to standard.  The front forks also seem to have been raised through the yokes around 20 / 25mm (guess, not measured) which is the only think making me hesitate in removing the lowering kit as I am not confident in lifting these up.

There are a few other threads on the forum that discuss lowering the Crossrunner.

Lust kit lowers 30mm rear and as per instructions as I remember and experience 15mm front is the go. The best part about it it lowers the centre of gravity improves handling, and yes you can keep the stock centre stand. Raising the front forks to lower  the front and match lowering the rear is the wrong way to go about it. Seems some would rather not stick to facts and rather compare the v-tech engine to other machines. Like any bike I suggest take it for a spin then set up to suit. Still got my 2015 with above mentioned suspension setup and can't find or justify the extra cost ,risk of a newer bike.
