Summer riding gear
« on: May 03, 2012, 04:04:37 PM »
No - I am not totally bonkers - summer will come and more importantly I am hoping that the sun will be beating down when I am on Euro Tour at end of month.Last time I was very hot in all weather textiles - so decided to buy some summer gear - mesh jacket and pants were starting point.

After quite an extensive search I opted for some RST Ventillator gear. V11 Jacket and V111 pants - these are 4 seasons gear - mesh outer with  options to zip in a waterproof membrane and/or zip in a thermal lining.

Other mesh jacket options would have required me to buy waterproofs and I needed to buy a hi viz bib as my normal touring jacket is fully hi viz. The shop (Bikers World, Coleshill, Nr Birmingham) threw in an Oxford Hi Viz bib and gave me a bit of discount as I have bought quite a lot of gear/bikes from them over the last 3 years.

Just hope the sun shines now :440:
