Hello to all from Switzerland

Hello Ladies and Gents,
Just wanted to introduce myself!
I have been looking for a new bike for a couple of years and just couldn't find anything I really liked until I tested the Crossrunner yesterday - it certainly ticks all the boxes! It's reserved for me at the dealers and am just waiting for the offer tomorrow - with luck he will be on his first tour next Saturday. Just can't wait!
My partner and I tested the BMW 1200r as well (idea is to have two bikes in the family we can both ride so we can swap) - even he liked the crossrunner better and he is a die hard BMW man (would have 'boxer twin' tattooed across his a** if it didn't hurt).
So even though the Crossrunner isn't mine yet, I just wanted to 'talk' to some people who will understand my excitement at getting a new bike!
We live in Switzerland (ex UK) just near the three passes (Grimsel, Susten, Furka - not open yet, damn it to hell!) so if any of you are passing and want a cup of tea, then get in touch! Xrunjoe should be on his way past sometime soon???
Wishing you all a good summer of riding
Best wishes
Angie

Hi Angie Welcome to the forum. I'm sure that you will enjoy the Crossrunner. Don't let your partner keep nicking it everytime his BMW is back in the shop being repaired

You are so close to so many fantastic roads, I'm jealous
. Counting down the days until I'm in the Highlands of Scotland, and planning the roads I'm going to ride.

Hello again Gentlemen,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I just sent the mail confirming I will take the bike so subject to the financing going through, it will be mine soon!
Not sure how to multiple quote so:
@Rocker66 - thanks for the tip but there will be ground rules regarding use of the Crossrunner :-)
@Smeagol - yes the roads round here are just amazing and so easy to get to so many places - have done a lot of touring in Switzerland and surrounding countries - and now I am going to do it all again on my new bike - hope you enjoy your time in Scotland, Rocker66 too
@xrunjoe - looks like a great trip you have planned!
Best wishes to all - will try and post some photos when the passes open.

Hi Angie
to the forum
we rode the passes near yours last year i was on a CB1300 cant wait to go back again now an try the CR on some of them passes. Good choice of bike, The wifey likes riding my CR but it stands just a little to tall for her when it comes to putting her feet down.
