And another SwissRunner
« on: June 06, 2012, 10:20:44 PM »
Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone from the lovely French section of Switzerland, I will be picking up my new CR on Saturday, can't wait...  I'm a VFR guy from way back, owned a white one since 1987...  Not much else to say for the moment, so I'll report back in when I actually get my hands (and the rest of me) on the machine!   --sVFR

Picked up the bike today - and I love it! Only had time to do a small outing but I think it fits me perfectly.  Will spend some time personalizing it of course, some of the accessories are not here yet (have the luggage and a center stand coming).  I'll be back in here looking at posts on accessories soon.  In the meantime, attached are a couple of pix I shot in the local neighborhood - literally, they are 5 minutes from the house.  Nice combination of the old and new, the steam engine from the early 1900's and the chateau is 10th-11th century...  More pix with more scenic mountain views as soon as I can.

Cheers to all :031:

Hi Swiss VFR welcome to the forum. As someone who has worked on the railway for the last 46 years I really appreciate the picture with the loco
