Does anybody know what the red connector under the seat is for. Its between the battery and the ABS pump and has a red cover on it. The reason I ask is on pin 1 it has 12v switched on with ignition and I would like to use this for my speed camera detector

it may be for the accessory loom such as the 12volt socket. If you give honda uk a ring and ask for technical they should be able to put you right or give lings honda a ring as they have the pdf and should be able to tell you.

I've got a feeling it's the diagnostics socket.
As Paul said give a dealer a call and see if they can tell you.

It is the diagnostic socket, dealer says pin 1 is the 12v supply for his hand held diagnostic unit so it should be ok to use
