    Forum Ride In Anybody??

I know it's difficult to get a UK national meeting organised cos we are such a far flung group - but see from the membe or sors map that there are quite a few owners now in the central belt -sayor so 100 miles away from Stratford On Avon. What's the appetite for a Ride In meet - by that I mean the revers of a Rideout due to distance to the meet point - we agree to meet at a certain location (maybe joining up in two's and three's along the way) - have a social couple of hours and a bite to eat -  then disperse and find way home.Anyobe who wanted to make a weekend of it from further afield welcome also

I throw it open for comment.

Nice idea Joe.  I'm up for that and Stratford seems a good place to make it as accessible as possible for the majority, unless anyone thinks there is a better place, I don't mind riding a fair distance to attend something like this.

Do you know Stratford? i.e. did you have somewhere in mind that would accommodate us, preferably without booking as experience tells me that although many may say yes, on the day, something crops up that stops them from attending and you end up having booked somewhere and unable to fill the places reserved the proprietor gets the hump. :034:

I'm up for it subject to availability. Many of weekends off are already spoken for with trips on the bike but I would love to come if I can

That's 5 possibles - if we can get 10 or12 definates then it would be worth making arrangments.

Could be up for a meet up & brew.  We usually head into Wales & the borders, but now and then take a ride through cotswolds and back up through Stratford. There is good bike parking, and a short walk to Cox's Yard for a brew or two. Ill keep an eye on this thread.

Just had a look at the website for Cox's Yard, sounds a good location.

Slidy can you point to bike parking nearby, on google maps or something.

I know that I may be being pedantic but can we please make it clear that we are talking about Stratford upon Avon  not Stratford

If you do a search for cox's yard, then click on the google map, you'll see a road called 'Bridgeway' the A3400.
There is a multi story car park entrance on that one way road. The bike parking is in front of the multistory.
It is clearly signed 'Bridgeway motorcycle park' but easy to miss the first time round! Basically turn into car park, keep in left hand lane, but only 10 or so yards in, turn left into the bike parking area. Free bike parking, with a toilet just inside the multistory if you cant wait to get to Cox's Yard which is only a 5 minute walk.
Hope to meet a few of you there.
