G'day from Melbourne, Australia
« on: July 14, 2012, 01:38:42 AM »
Hi everyone.

Been lurking around since November 2011 after discovering the Crossrunner in August as I was preparing to upgrade (from a Suzuki GS500) to something more upright with more power and off road "potential".

Bought a Red one in January and have been on a few long trips. Recently completed its 12,000km service and replaced the Scorpions (with the same as I didn't specify what to put on) which were down to the steel belt.  :006:

Put the Honda grip warmers on to make it more bearable in winter and centre stand to help with maintenance. Recently added some BarkBusters (S7) to help keep the hands warm (winters in Melbourne can be cold!), which I think was a great decision.

I'm finding it very easy to ride although no more economical than my car (fuel wise), but I ride my bike for fun (read as spirited :016:) and the car just to get somewhere. My primary use is a weekend warrior with joy rides at night during the week.

Next farkles will hopefully be the SW Motech crash bars, just because I want to put extra lights on and it seems like a great platform for adding further "stuff".
