Unable to watch videos from the forum

Whenever I try to watch a video that has been enbedded in the forum I get the message "Internet explorer has stopped working" I'm running IE 9 with windows 7
Has anyone any idea what the problem could be. Any advice would be welcome especially if it is not too technical for this old technaphobe to understand
