Pics and/or tips please, mine arrived today and not sure I'm as mechanically confident as you.
I'll be fitting at the weekend :)

Trust me that is the first and last time in my life I have been called mechanically competent!!!
It really is easy to fit, when you offer it up to the bike it is easy to see how it fits (instructions are clear) and it is just a matter of a bolt either side to hold it on and screw in the sticky out bit ( see!!) that the spring attaches to. Dont forget to put grease in the bushes so it goes up and down easily ( I use copperslip but thats just my personal preference).
The tricky bit is getting the springs on as they are strong but if you use a very long screwdriver for leverage it should help then bobs your aunt fanny and off you go!!

Sounds like I'll manage then.
Copperslip sounds good to me, loctite on the bolts or not?

I did put loctite on the bolts but thats just me with a belt and braces thing although I am sure they would be fine without it.

Fine and sunny this morning
Will order a stand I think, they look good quality and good price compared to genuine!
Would you be interested in a touring screen wedge?

I just bought a powerbronze one.
What type is yours? could be convinced as though the pb is great
I still catch some windlblast to the top of the helmet (funnily enough
about 12cm higher than on the standard - same as the additional
screen height) I note that some have a flip and the pb doesn't
