No the VFR800 has one ( and a much better dash IMHO ) but the CR only has engine temp.

Not so far as I can see. A number of months ago I asked if anyone had any experience of ambient temperature gauges being bought to be "stuck on" the bike someone. I think they are useful, especially in winter. They can't be expensive so wouldn't be a disaster if removed/stolen. I've looked on the net but can't locate anything.

Try clocksabout. I bought a clock for my previous bike that was brilliant. Looks and craftsmanship. I can only guess their thermometers are equally well made.

Hi Spenze. Thanks for that. Internet search on clocks about hasn't got me anywhere? (apart from reference to what is Coldplay song"Clocks" about!!).
Do you have a website address?
Cheers

Just checked the website
http://clockabout.com.au/
and found they're closing down their online store. Unfortunately it was also an Aussie site so not sure if it would've helped anyway.
The stuff they sold apparently came from "Formotion"
http://www.formotionproducts.com/gauges_menu.htm
Have a look.
