Bmw new GS
on: January 30, 2013, 10:37:11 AM
Just reading the review of the new GS and one of the things that has always put me off them is the weight of the things. Surprised to read therefore that the kerb weight wet is 238 kg which is 2kg less than a CR??

The crossrunner hides its weight very well.  I was at a camp  last year and one of the guys had a gsa1200.  All electronic suspension n alloy panniers.....

I couldnt get it off the side stand to get it upright lol.  I could get my feet down ok.  Weight was too high up in the bike.
