Will I be trading in my CR?

Having done one year past my 65Th I decided that I want to try and do 3 more to make it 50 with the company. In view of this I thought it would be nice to have a new bike to last me until then so I thought that I would have a look at possible replacements for my CR. I really want to stay with Honda but the only bikes I really fancy are GL1800 too expensive and will not fit in garage with the other bikes. Crosstour too tall to get my leg over (no obvious jokes please!!) and the CB1000R impractical for trips away. This only leaves the possibility of getting another Crossrunner on which I could transfer all my extras too. Just waiting to get a cost to change from the dealer and to find out if the Cameo version is still available
In view of all this all I can say is

Too tall. I can just get a foot down but not enough to feel secure especially if the camber is steep.Don't ask how I know

I appreciate that it's great bike according to all the press reviews. However as I said I really want to stay with Honda due to the excellent service we get from Kent Motorcycles

Have you seen the xtreme crossrunner ?
To be honest, if your looking at getting the same bike again, id change the plastics for the camo ones and buy the fuel tank. Bike dealers are offering peanuts for trade ins. You could then sell a full set of plastics and tank on fleabay to make some money back and still be well in pocket against the loss on selling the bike.
Or have it professionally sprayed for 400-500.

The point of getting another bike (if I do decide to do so) is to have something new to last me the 3 years that I hope to do before finally retiring having done 50 years on the railway. by that time I will be 69 and probably looking for something smaller assuming I'm still around and able to ride
