Discovered the true weight of the Crossrunner
on: February 11, 2013, 07:55:12 PM
I came to roll the CR out of the garage this morning, except I didnt?????
The back tyre was flat ( must have picked something up on the way home last night ), and let me tell you, I was really struggling to budge the bike at all with the flat. They are really heavy!!!!!!

Anyways, left the bike in the garage, caught the bus to work.

Think we all know what im going to be doing tonight  :023: :013: :151:

A flat can dramatically alter the weight distribution of any bike.

I had a rear flat on my old 900 Trophy when i went to the garage one morning, so decided to put it up on centre stand and drop the wheel out to go get it changed . . . could I get it onto the main stand? not without the neighbours help to lift it!! Just that 3 or 4 inches lower on the back end made it almost impossible to lift up. Mind you, the Triumph Trophy full on tourer was a damn heavy beast!
