Motech GPS mount
on:

I received my GPS mount a few days ago. I've assembled the various parts but have yet to mount it on the bike.
I know several people have got this mount on here so coud someone answer a couple of questions?
Did you use the mounting bolts supplied with the kit or just re-use the originals on the bike?
I've had a gander at the mounting points and notice that there isn't a heck of a lot of space in there; does anything need to be removed/moved on the bike to ease installation?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Juz,
I ordered mine 2 weeks ago, so i think it will be delivered soon, so no experience yet. But what i do (think to)now, is that the mounting bolts in the kit are a bit longer than the original ones! So you have to use them instead of the Original bolts.

I used the bolts in the kit as they are a bit longer. Really easy to fit takes about five minutes

That's good to know. I'll be using the bolts supplied.
Thanks to you both for the replies.

Did you need to take anything off to get into that space?
