Hello from France

Hello all,
I'm Matt, 30 years old from France.
I live just next to Geneve (Switzerland) and near french mountains... Means there are a lot of wonderfull roads here in mountains
There are few crossrunners in France... No dedicated forum in french
Maybe I will get some answers on this forum that would help me.
I used to have a Kawasaki ER6F (called Ninja 650 in USA) before this Honda.
Mine is red. Got an Ixil Hyperlow exhaust on it, a Bagster red bag on the tank and a Kappa TopCase (not really pretty but practical for all-days).
Excuse my english level... but here you don't have to suffer my french accent
See ya
Matt

Hi Matt and welcome.
Bienvenue sur le forum crossrunner. (I have to confess I got that from the Google Translate website!!).
Don't worry about your English. It will be better than most of us on here.
I have toured once near to Geneva - around Annecy and Thonon les Bains. a great biking area.
I noticed the comment from Slidy. 12 countries in 14 days sounds fun. The Crossrunner is made for it.
Regards

Hello,
thanks for your replies !
Sure the region is a nice place to ride and to live.
I used to live in Annecy but now I'm near the Leman's lake.
Sure we have a lot of nice roads here, would be happy to see some XRunners here, I feel so alone
Most of people in France ride Z750 or Street Triple

Hi Matt,
I am ex crossrunner owner and last May I rode through Annecy and stayed in a small town called Ugine, Near Albertville. We spent a day riding round Mt Blanc region..but many passes still closed due to snow. We headed south to Embrun and on down the Route Napoleon the next day. Part of a great trip and the Crossrunner was perfect for the mountain roads.

Nice Trip !
My Grand parents live near Embrun, in Barcelonnette, a lot of passes there too... and the highest road in Europe to go to Nice via the "col de la Bonnette" : 2802m ! Opened at the beginning of May in general.
