    Pitures from my recent trip

Just got back from a 3 day trip, going from Sydney to Mt panarama, Bathurst to Parkes to Temora and back to Sydney. just over a 1000km, The second day was spent mostly at points of interest in Parkes and Temora.

The highlight of the trip was definitely being able to a lap or 3 of the world famous Mt Panarama race track, home of the V8 supercars Bathurst 1000, which is a public road when it is not being used as a race track. Even though the speed limit is 60km/h all the way around ( and it is heavily policed ), you get to feel like a racer for 6km. and once you`re at the top, the view is spectacular, and you realise just how nuts race drivers/riders really are.

So here are a couple of pictures.

Oh Mitch. Now you're just teasing us. Looks fabulous there. It's snowing here in Northampton this morning. The Crossrunner is staying in the garage today. But send us some more pics if you have any more jaunts.

    Cheers

    I'm not jealous, much.

The bright thing is a mythical beast called the SUN, apparently it provides warmth in areas nowhere near the UK.  It makes you all sweaty in your protective clothing.

    aaarrgh!
I was planning on a trip from Brisbane to Sydney and back on my Crossrunner at the beginning of this year. Had to drive instead because I caught a tummy bug. Mt. Panorama in a Corolla wasn't as good as the bike would be :(

Hope you had a good time! Did you have a look at the motorsport museum?

I didnt get to the motorsport museum, I wanted to make sure I got to Parkes before it started to get dark. I go to the Bathurst 1000 every couple of years so im sure i`ll get there eventually.

    This is the tailpack

Its pretty good for short trips, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired, this was my 2nd trip with it fully packed, and some of the seams are starting to come away. Which is a little disappointing
