Just back from 1600 miles tour round France, Belgium, Luxembourg & Switzerland & despite torrential rain most days, 2 bikes (not CR's) ending up in ditches, a full on blizzard coming over mountains from lake geneva back into France & my rear tyre picking up a screw (quickly & cheaply fixed by Kawasaki dealer in Villeneuve - sous - Pymont) the CR never missed a beat was as comfortable as I could ask for, Honda luggage never leaked a drop despite conditions, I'm a very happy boy & look forward to many more happy miles on the Crossrunner

One of those "what the **** am I doing here" moments you sometimes get on a tour Gary..very character building. Me and my mates missed the actual snow in French/Swiss Alps this time last year but many of the passes were  still closed due to drifts. Many still think its not a good bet to do this area before june.
I picked up news about John's litle mishap on the GSX1250 forum..glad he is OK.
