USB for GPS
on: June 01, 2013, 10:50:40 PM
There I was, fixing a 12 V line from the key-contact to a 12 V cigarette chassis. From there a Cigarette-USB dildo inserted. From there a USB to GPS connector cable. Then it hit me; why ?
Why so many parts that all can fail? And I am only using the 12 V connector for the GPS. So I dismatled a cigarrete-USB adapter to its bare essentials and soldered the wires straight on it. The 12V I tapped from my headlight. Looks a lot cleaner now. :)
