One week Rhone Alps (France)

Hi Motorcycle-Friends!
My wife and me did a one week trip through the Rhone Alps in France.
We were lucky with the weather, looking apart from one morning with rain... but this also had it's beauty.
You can see a summarizing video here:
Rhone Alpen Juli 2013
We started in
Thonon-Les-Bains
which is at the south side of the Sea of Geneve, also called Lac Leman. From there everything in beetween this and 800km to the south are mountains, mountains and mountains.
Our start at home in
Freiburg
Driving through Switzerland always be aware of this
At Lac Leman near Geneve
Driving around the Lac Leman to reach Thonon les Bains
Some bikers at the Cafes in Thonon les Bains
Had some pretty hot days. Always happy for some fresh water.
First little mountains like
Col de la Ramaz
and Col de la Colombiere.
Visit to
Annecy
, a beautiful little city at the Sea that is also called Annecy.
Annecy.
Medieval tower (Chateau Crusoll) near
Valence
.
My ancestors.
In the far south of the alps the Provence begins with a lot of Lavendel Fields.
Olive fields.
A mountain with a surface like on the moon. I unfortunately forgot it's name.
I tried to dress in the same colours like the tower in the back :-)
Back from the Provence into the French Alps.
And again, as far you can see and wherever you go: Mountains, mountains, mountains.
Someone had enough....
That's it.... always have a good and safe ride...!
I salute you with my left hand!

The fourth picture down looks a lot like the stretch between Vevey and Lausanne on the lake road - somewhere near Rivaz - if so you passed within a couple of km of my house when you went through Vevey... Nice trip and nice vids!

Thank you very much to all of you for your comments!
We had some great time in france and the french we met were all very friendly and relaxing people. We surely will go there again one day. Next time we'll make our daily tours shorter. 250 to 300km doesn't sound much at all. But when driving in the alps on little streets you often cant drive much faster than 30 to 60km/h and then it will take you a Long Time on road to reach your destination. I think 200km should be enough.
Yeah the tough surface of the french streets took a lot of rubber from my tyres. I totally underestimated that and thought the tyres will surely make that Trip, but i was teached otherwise :-)
@SwissVFR: Ah, so we just passed by next to your door :-) Next time we stop by for a visit and some gasoline talk ;-)
Next week Friday i'll go to Sardinia with friends for One week. I hope i'll be able to Show you some pictures afterwards. Its my first time on that island.

Thanks for sharing ! One question : what's your comment about a long trip with 2 up and luggages ( comfort , engine, ... ) ?
