First service and grip heater
« on: October 18, 2011, 05:52:42 PM »
Hi,

just back from the first 1000 Km service.Costs were 133 Euro.

I had the feeling that after this service the Cossrunner was running better, more powerfull.
Maybe they made some software adjustment after the first service, maybe it was only a subjective feeling.

As I bought the Crossrunner ,I ordered also the original grip heater, installation for free.
Now they are installed. They looking good and working fine :028:
They have 3 levels heating range. The highest level is too warm for the current temperature.

I can give a closer comment if I will drive to work at the early morning. :016:

Hi Guido - sounds like first service cost is about the same as over here.
Bike always feels better after first service - and will continue to loosen up as you do more miles/Km's.

I had heated grips fitted as well and used them last weekend when it was the coldest morning for some time. They are quite good - but still do not stop cold wind on back of hands - which is why I fitted Barkbuster handguards. Two together worked very well.
