    Help!!! Burned main electric beam!:-(

    Everything is in the title...

The motorcycle not stopping more than by cuts him(it) circuit, the key cutting any more the contact and I hear(understand) a crackling...

The next day, I put the contact, nothing!

I think of a relay which is in the fleet which burned(blew) out to me a fuse and emptied the battery(drum kit) well, I defuse(unsettle) my battery(drum kit) returns her(it) to the workshop(studio) and put back(hand) in load(responsibility); she(it) got hit well...

Noon(South), I reconnect the battery(drum kit), not too much costaude all the same, and not way(means) to make break the engine, I try in descent in 4th, nothing...

Well, I resign myself, go to my former(old) concesss Honda and we go get it(pick her up) with the truck.

The evening verdict, burned main beam!

The beam rubbed against the frame(executive)! Price(prize) of the room(part, play), not far from 900€, the more the workforce, the more the battery(drum kit) which is HOURS and hoping that the ABS power plant and the computer is not also collected Oops

I am going to try via the legal support of my insurance contract AMV to make take care of the repairs by Honda for latent defect, but that is not gained(won)...

Who has already seen or had this case on a VFR?

I'm not so sure to understood totally your message but the sense is, unfortunately clear.

I think you can check for the warranty : why Honda should not repair your cross runner?

Unfortunately, the motorcycle is not any more under guarantee. She(it) is of May, 2011 and the guarantee was of two years...
Thus, there, she(it) left in a concession Honda which is going to examine him(it) and then, I hope that Honda will take care of the repair because it is a question at our home(with us) in France, what we call a latent defect... :021:

In Australia there is consumer law and manufacturer warranty.  The manufacturer warranty is what they offer of their own volition.  Consumer law delves into concepts like how long you could expect a component to last. If you lived here you'd definitely make a claim. Unless you put a 150w globe in you should expect wiring loom to last 10 years+.

    That isn't good.
Out of interest, have the valves ever been done or is it an unmolested low mileage bike?
Wondering if the harness has been routed incorrectly after a valve check or bad from manufacture?

    Hi there !
Properly some days ago Honda write me and official communication about warranty extension: the talk about 4 year (total) and automatically !!!
So, try to take some informations: I think that this campain is a world wide one or, at least, an European one.
