still running in

Traded in a Fazer8, and found a big difference despite similar engine sizes. Just short of 300 miles, but quite impressed already. Under 6k revs it feels like a V-twin and pulls nicely, although it's bit rough in some low rev/gear combinations. Big difference in road holding - already leaning over more and getting around corners faster. Upright riding position is why I bought it, and that's good, although I'm getting sore thumbs and arms sometimes. So far, so good. Puig screen has been ordered.

:028: done 1000+ miles now on mine it gets better seems when new engine tight so the vibrations you speak about disappear I found I needed to rev it a little more than my 1200 bandit and use lower gears than I am used to

I just turned over 19000k on the weekend....definitely smoother and looser than when I first bought it. Early on it was noticeable how it would stop dead when turned off...like it was tight.
