Crosstourer @ Milan Show
« on: November 07, 2011, 08:35:30 PM »
Spotted this today - will be able to have a closer look at NEC show in UK two weeks time - but its tall (850mm saet height) and heavyish - 285kgs (probably not full tank either and no luggage so is probably well over 300kgs fully fuelled and loaded up. Too much for me - but looks great.
No change to Crossrunner.

Also note the NC700x which looks similar to Crossrunner but with different engine which means side mounted radiators are gone = sleeker lighter bike @ 214kgs bike but @ 830mm is again higher than Crossrunner. Again - looks great -wonder how it will perform?

I agree with you Joe :031:

One interesting technical data of nc700x: fuel consumption, 27km with 1lt of fuel.... The same as a250cc scooter!!  :114:

wow - wish I could get 27km to a litre from the Crossrunner. The nc700x is low on power though so will be economical.

Hi all, I have news about prices here in Italy!  :002:
CROSSTOURER: 14200euro normal version -15200euro with DCT

INTEGRA: 8600euro  (with free jacket at first 3000 buyers)

NC700X: 6590euro  normal version -7590euro with DCT

NC 700S: 5990euro normal -6990euro  with DCT

If prices are these.... I think they are very good, expecially for NC700, is less expensive then bmw F800 for example!

Hi ,

the price for the Crosstouruer could be a problem in Germany, because this is almost the same price category as BMW 1200 Gs.
If they have almost the same price, most of the German will chose the BMW due to prestige reasons :112: (Quality is much less than Honda).

Anyway, the bike looks good, but too expensive and big for my tasks

The honda is going to be expensive and is overweight.  If I was in the market for one of these genre bikes it would be the triumph explorer.  That looks bloody great.

Not saying the honda will be a bad bike but its very heavy, tall.  God whats it gonna feel like with panniers full of camping gear ??

I was seriously considering one of the new 700s as a replacement for my deauville which is used for a 75 mile round trip to work all the year around. Sadly when I look at the specification not on;y are they naked but have chain drive. By the time I have added the luggage they would be quite more expensive than a new Deauville. This means I would be paying more for less :006:
