I have just fitted a pair of PR4s, so far they seem a big improvement
from the original ones.
Not cheap but like most things you get what you pay for.

Good choice!! I've done around 2k on mine now, in all weathers, and have to say they are the best tyres I've had on any bike!!

Had PR4s on for 9k miles now and just fitted a new rear. After some 2k on the new rear noticed a wear pattern of lipped blocks forming, just like the last one. I run at 36psi front and 42psi rear. Most miles done two up with luggage, rear spring at pos 5. Anyone had anything similar?

If they're as good in all weathers as people say and still last 9000 miles I wouldn't care what they look like

Oops! Replaced rear at 7k ( a bit thin I know) front has now done 9k and a little over half worn.

Just replaced o.e. Scorpions at 4000 miles. Plenty of tread left but squared off and tippy in corners. New pr4 s very confidence inspiring with a nice shaped profile that rolls into bends.
I'm. Happy.

Had PR4s on my CR for the last 4K and they are a massive improvement over the OEM Scorpions.
36 and 42 PSI front and rear is also a big improvement over the Honda recommendation for the Mk1.

Hi all
Thinking of changing to the PR4's myself as the Scorpions don't inspire much confidence. I see they come in standard, gt and trail. Have you all fitted the standards or the gt's? I can't find any info to see if the gt's would be recommended for the Crossrunner due to it being a bit of a heavyweight.
