Best money ever spent! The chattery front end is gone, the forks rebound properly, I now have the perfect bike.

A week ago or so I mounted Wilbers progressive to my bike.
Result are obvious, front end works much better now.
Next month rear end is on the way as I never had shock with 0 compression built in.

Testrun with wilbers forksprings in the dolomites. Much better riding and cornering now. Will save money for the a rear wilbers shock. Had one in my double-x and the difference was amazing.

I know it's an age since u posted your Wilbers front spring replacement information, however, if your still following this forum, could you confirm whether you fitted replacement 'progressive' or 'linear' springs. Also, were you referring to the Mk2 CR (post 2015)? Regards

Hello , new here, on a
2012 CR
Im planning to buy the
Hyperpro
Progressive front fork Springs for the bike.
there seem to be a lot of positives re front end upgrade with the hyperpro.
has anyone upgraded the rear spring with a Hyperpro and noticed a good difference ? A new shock is 400 stg so i might just try the spring first off at 85 stg.

I had both ends hyperpro'd on the '15 cr, the front end made the biggest difference.

I went with Racetech springs and valves at the front end. I don't think the brand really matters.. any decent spring chosen to reflect your weight and riding preferences will be an improvement over that chosen by Mr Honda to be all things to all people. Same goes for the rear, I guess!
My suspension fettler informed me that a replacement spring for the rear of a 2015 bike was difficult, given the tapered spring and the limited space.. but re-valving did the trick initially, for solo riding. I run a Nitron shock now though, because despite the upgrades, the OEM shock didn't offer enough damping adjustment to gracefully cope with pillion + luggage. We should probably eat and drink less.
