Just spotted this on the bay. Anyone had any experience of them? Seems to be a very low price, but working on the - if it seems to good to be true............ schtick - it might be.

The link doesn't bring anything up at all.
What sort of can was it ?
I've just bought an Ixil can for my wife's CR, I have to fit it over the weekend.
And it was cheap as chips.
I've got a pair of the same brand on my Kwak and they sound OK.

Not sure what happened with link. If you search honda crossrunner in all categories and list by newly listed it comes up as first listed on 6th February. Comes from free flow systems in Worcestershire. Looks good but at 90quid could be questionable.
How much louder is the one you got for your wife?

I can't find the listing on ebay now, but, last year when I was looking for a new exhaust, I saw one by Free Flow systems at what seemed a great price. The thing that put me off was the wording in the advertisement. It was word for word (cut and paste?), the same description as the aftermarket can made by Beowulf which was selling for £210. In my mind, if you have gone through the trouble of designing and manufacturing something, why copy the description of a reputable brand? . . . It could well be a bargain, but as I say, it just put me off.

Have a look on eBay at item number 161554565127 it's a ixil end can looks good to me current bid is £19.99 with  £10 postage. It still has four days left to run, may be a bargain. Sorry don't know how to copy links of eBay.
    Cheers

Sorry for the delay, been away for a while in sunnier parts.
The Ixil pipe sounds quite nice as it came with no baffles in it, so it was a good result off
    the bay,  :002:

The Ixil silencers are very small. What about power and torque?

It rides exactly the same as before, just sounds as my wife puts it, "like a proper motorbike".
It has that lovely off beat V4 rumble, I think it may be overly noisy on a long run, but we shall see.
It's not a straight through design, the exhaust is silenced. The weight saving is a big bonus.  :028:
