I did Honister pass a few years ago, I think almost every road in the lake district is worth riding!  :028:

Yes I have on my old GS 5 years ago and on a CB750F2 back in the day

It’s challenging but well worth it

A nice ride doing 4 passes
Is start at Alston down Hartside Pass , then over to Kirkstone Pass down to Ambleside then do Wynose Pass then onto Hardinot Pass

A good work out and some lovely scenery

Enjoy and stay safe

Finally got a chance to upload photos from recent Ireland trip and the nw200. What’s not to like about a white Honda with orange wheels and metzeler tyres :047:
Some great racing which can be seen on the iPlayer, but seeing in the flesh the skill displayed on a wet Thursday was superb.

Topbox is on, adjustable screen brackets are on and ready for a northern England road trip next month, fingers crossed for decent weather. Has anyone ridden through the Hardknott pass in the Lakes district??

Well after trying several times to reset clock as per handbook and advice I managed to resolve the issue by taking my timepiece of my olde GS
Low tech but it works
The watch will now have a far smoother ride in its dotage

Old school is best, I remember having a Kawasaki 750 in the 80s and it got on my nerves having to try and roll my sleeve up to see the time so bought a cheap digital watch and superglued it between the clocks.

Just started packing Crossie for a trip in the UK! Finally!
Leaving thursday 26/5 and returning to mainland Europeshire on 5/6.

Haven't got a real plan, just ride around and attend the Rat and Survival Rally at Kemble Airport on the last weekend.

Safe journey tomorrow voodoo. Any plans to come further north?
